Product Pricing
Prices shown include UK VAT where applicable. If you are ordering from outside the EU you should deduct the VAT from the price shown. To do this, divide the price by 1.175. Shipping and delivery charges are exempt from VAT.

Shopping Options
We have designed our Online Catalogue so you can browse and locate the items you are looking for quickly and easily.

To start shopping simply click on any of the sections listed under 'Shop by...' on the left hand side of each page within the Online Catalogue.

Shopping by Brand
If you are interested in a particular Brand simply choose your Brand Name from our collections list.

Shopping by Department
If you are interested in a particular Brand simply choose your Brand Name from our collections list.

Using the Product Search
If you are still unsure, try our Product Search for an even more accurate result. Once you have located the products you are interested in, simply click the product to find out more. You will be shown a detail page and will have the option to add the item to your Shopping Cart. You will first be asked to specify sizes, colours and quantities. If you are unsure of your size you can view the SIZE GUIDES to help you.

Using the Shopping Cart
When you first add a product to your Shopping Cart a new link to the Cart will appear on every page of the site underneath the main navigation.

Visible at all times, the Shopping Counter will show you how many items you've added to your shopping bag, together with a running total of goods chosen.

Click the Cart at any time you want to check what's in your basket as you browse and buy. You'll be shown a detailed list of what you've chosen, together with your running total. You can remove or increase the quantity right up to the point where you process your order.

Placing your order
The checkout process requires that you Login using your Ptarmigan account details (username & password). If you have not shopped with us before, select 'REGISTER NOW' and you'll be taken through our step-by-step application process, which take only a few minutes to complete.

Once registered and Logged in you may continue to process your order. On completion of the order you will be shown a Thank you page confirming your order has been placed. You will also receive an email, which summarises details of items ordered and includes your Order Reference number. We advise that you print/store this email for your personal records, however you may also access a history of all your previous orders by Logging in via the CUSTOMER SERVICES section.

Paying for your order
Payment can be made by Credit or Debit card directly from the pages of this site. All payments must be in Pounds Sterling.

Secure Payment by Credit Cards. Credit card details are encrypted and processed on line through NetBanx.

All transactions are deemed to take place within the United Kingdom and subject to the relevant United Kingdom Laws.

All goods remain the property of Ptarmigan Clothing Company until paid for in full.

Payment will display as 'Pacific Trading co ptarmi' on all your receipts and bank statements.

Tracking your order
Once your order has been dispatched you will receive an email detailing the carrier and consignment number. You may then use these details to track the delivery on the relevant carriers Website. The carrier and consignment details will also be stored in your Order History. To access your Order History you must Login via the CUSTOMER SERVICES section.

Stock information
We do not hold items on our Website unless we have sufficient stock. However, in the event of you ordering a particular item that exceeds the level we hold in stock we will notify you of any delivery delays that may occur whilst we restock - prior to taking payment from your account. At this point you may reduce your quantity of the item to match our stock levels, remove the item or choose another item.

From time to time we may need to issue you with a refund if the item is completely out of stock and money has been taken from your account. We apologise in advance for any inconvenience this may cause.

Our aim is to always provide you with the items you want without any disappointments.
